Kevin Ernst	d7a9033886	Makefile: fix MANDIR, fix for macOS - MANDIR was not a directory before; now it is - macOS has no "root" group, and -g/-o are rarely needed anyway - hat tip to osmcode/libosmium#18 - fairly-recent macOS (Mojave) still does not have 'install -D' so do 'install -d' explicitly for the parent directories, particularly for 'man8', since that probably won't exist in most people's /usr/local/share/man to begin with	4 years ago

J. Brandt Buckley	751790959e	Fix large file support. fixes #1 Tested in Ubuntu 13.10 on x86_64, Arch on i686, and Mac OS X 10.9 on x86_64. NOTE: Though this should work in most cases, it doesn't appear to be the POSIX/SUS-compliant way. We should probably just use autotools or cmake.	11 years ago

Permitted per: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=273338 Quote: My "symlinks" utility pre-dates the "open source licensing" fad by a number of years. Just to clarify, this is 100% freeware, written entirely by myself. The intent is to use it to detect missing/obsolete symlink targets on an installed distro, before creating the "gold" (or "final") release discs. Use and distribute and modify as you (or anyone else) sees fit. There have no formal restrictions or requirements whatsoever regarding distribution of either binaries or source code, whether modified or original.
